PLEASE NOTE: Monthly and Quarterly subscriptions will be automatically billed every 1 month and 3 months, respectively.
If you subscribe to a Monthly subscription on August 14, your subscription will renew on September 14.
If you subscribe to a Quarterly subscription on August 14, your subscription will renew on November 14.
Q: What shipping service do you use?
A: All packages are shipped via USPS.
Q: Why don't you ship internationally?
A: Shipping to countries like AUS, Canada and UK is extremely high-cost. On average, it’s $25-$30 for a single shipment. We are working on finding more efficient shipping rates and will make an announcement as soon as we ship outside of the US!
Q: How will I know when my box ships?
A: You will receive an automated email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships from email@example.com. ***PLEASE ALLOW EMAILS FROM ROLLERSKATECRATE@GMAIL.COM - we don't want your notifications ending up in Spam folders!***
Q: Why do you charge shipping?
A: Big companies like Amazon have programmed shoppers to expect 'free shipping' with most purchases. This actually hurts small businesses like ours, because we are paying for the actual cost to ship each and every box, in addition to the cost of shipping supplies. Thank you for understanding.
Q: What happens if I make a mistake with my address?
A: If your box has not shipped yet, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with ADDRESS CHANGE in the subject of your email. Unfortunately, if your box has already left our facility, we will not be able to change it in transit.
Q: Are the boxes like a FabFitFun box, where you receive more items than the price you pay for if it were retail?
A: Since we are an independently-owned and operated small business, we don’t bargain-shop for the sake of quantity and/or “value,” because we don’t want to potentially sacrifice the quality of items. Our staff personally tests the durability and overall quality of every product prior to selecting that item for our boxes.

Q: How do you choose the businesses, brands, and/or products in each box?
A: We select businesses with integrity and stellar reputations within the roller skate community. Our staff is composed of former derby skaters, street/trail skaters and park skaters, so we are well-versed in the most in-demand companies, products, quality, and styles.
Q: How many items come in each box?
A: Since each subscription cycle will contain a new assortment of items, there is no set number of products in the boxes. Due to the high demand for roller skating accessories, it is also a challenge to ensure that the same product type or an exact number of items will be met every time.
Q: What type of items can I expect in my boxes?
A: We don't disclose every specific item in each box, but each item is selected based on:
- Subscriber demand
- Gender-neutrality and inclusivity
- Overall level of awesomeness
One of our core company values is empowerment, and we find that stepping outside of our comfort zones is an avenue to living a more empowered life.

Q: Can you customize a box for me?
A: At this time, our focus is on efficiency, which means we do not offer custom options; however, we do plan on rolling out customizable features in 2021.
Q: My personal style is pretty gender-neutral. Do Roller Skate Crates include a lot of pink items in the boxes?
A: We recognize that everyone’s style is unique, so we strive to include gender-neutral items in every box.
